A picture of certain school pupils sitting on the ground reading their books, was posted on the 18th August ,2020 in the  Stylish Entertainment Sierra Leone facebook group by Ibrahim Sinu Gombe Roger, alleging that, pupils writing the West African Examination Senior School Examination (WASSCE) were seen sitting on the ground whilst taking their external examination. The post reads that ,” Citizens of Makeni are sabotaging the good work of President Julius Maada Bio.”

 The Deputy Director of Education for Bombali District, Abu Bakarr Kuyateh said the photo of pupils sitting on the ground outside their classrooms was false, misleading and not true. He said only classrooms were utilised for the  examination.

Mr. Kuyateh said there were more classrooms to accommodate pupils because according to him, there was absolutely no other educational activities in all the schools across the country whilst those exams were conducted.

African Young Voices Television reported  Abass Conteh also told the Truth Team of Salone Fact Checker, that he never received any information from any exam centres that pupils were made to take the exam outside of their classrooms.

Sheborah Kamara, Manager for Voice of Wusum Radio in Makeni also said from his observation there were enough class rooms to accommodate pupils.
